Knitted

Some of you may have noticed our batch of Knitwear that we included as part of the SS12 collection. This was the first time we had truly dabbled in it and we were pretty happy with the results.

Knitwear has always been important to us and menswear in general. These are pieces you can always put away in the depth's of your trendy tote-bags, and reach in for them when you need to steez it up a little. They're like reliable mates; they're always there and they always work well with anything.

This SS12 season's knitwear focused on very versatile pieces. We had the Knitted Polo T-shirts in Cotton/Linen in a fine "Pointelle" weave in both long and short sleeved versions. Fred Perry have been doing this a while and they have perfected the look. We wanted our little twist on it for a dated yet refined look. A pair of Black twill pants or cargos will do the trick in making you look that much tougher. Throw on some Grenson Footwear into the mix and you've got yourself a winning fit.

 or  +  = WF!

The next piece is another one for the ages. The Shawl collar cardigan is the perfect companion to your sifr Essentials tees. In any cases where you may need to layer over your lightweight tee, you can rely on the Shawl cardigan. It's great for layering, but not too heavy. If you're on the go a lot, don't forget to pack this piece.

 +  +  = Pretty darn timeless!

And finally, the Pointelle Cotton/Linen cardigan for the people that prefer a slightly more worn-in/grunge look. This was inspired by musicians and their commitment to wearing the same thing for extended periods of time. Pair this with a Melange Singlet tee and some Converse beaters.

 +  +
= Don't forget to wear pants.

Other favorites include the Rib Extended Throw Robe Cardigan which are perfect for your streaking requirements. Pair with the Sunspel x Monocle briefs and you're ready for business!

Here's to a great weekend! See you at KIN Saturday afternoon on the lane.

Flowy and long-ish for the weekend (so caroomtfble), and straight and knee length at work (I find that pencil skirts force me to keep better posture somehow). I’m less of a fan of pants for work, but I’m not sure why maybe because it limits my shoe choice/height of heel. Sheath dresses with a cardigan and skinny belt are my new spring-time love.
